Programs in culinary arts or baking and pastry arts give students comprehensive, experience in the theory and techniques of food-service and hospitality management. Culinary arts is the art of preparing & cooking foods. The word "culinary" is defined as something related to cooking. A culinarion is a person working in the culinary arts, working in restaurants is commonly known as a cook /chef. Culinary artists are responsible for skilfully preparing meals that are as pleasing to the palate & the eye. They are required to have a knowledge of the science of food and an understanding of diet and nutrition. Work is primarily in restaurants, cafes, delicatessens, hospitals & other institutions. Kitchen vary depending on the type of business, restaurant, cafe, nursing home, etc. The art of having food or Table arts can also be called as "Culinary arts".
