Description: Classical Greek, is the language used by the Athenians in the fifth & fourth centuries B.C.E. This course will also help you read the Koine Greek of the New Testament. The course is designed to help you develop proficiency in speaking, listening, writing, & especially reading Ancient Greek. Our goal is that you will acquire certain linguistic knowledge & skills (e.g. pronunciation, morphology, vocabulary & syntax), we will also need to understand the culture that produced texts in Greek & used it on a daily basis.
